Course Description: Este curso es un viaje enriqueciente para aquellos interesados en comprender la complejidad de la corrupción, su impacto en la ética pública y cómo el derecho internacional se manifiesta en este campo. A través de una lente de análisis, exploraremos casos prácticos en algunos países de Latinoamérica, ofreciendo una visión integral sobre cómo los mecanismos legales y las iniciativas cívicas pueden contener y prevenir la corrupción.

What You Will Learn:

1. Foundational Concepts (Unit 1): Dive into the essential concepts of anti-corruption and transparency, with a focus on civic engagement.
2. Ethical Frameworks (Unit 2): Understand the ethical norms of public life and international law that govern the fight against corruption.
3. Corruption in Contexts (Unit 3): Examine how corruption manifests in academic, industry, and political settings.
4. Global Anti-Corruption Organizations (Unit 4): Learn about key domestic and international organizations dedicated to combating corruption.
5. Prevention Strategies (Unit 5): Get to grips with the main measures for preventing, controlling, and punishing corrupt practices.
6. Country Studies (Unit 6): Analyze the state of corruption in countries like Argentina, Brazil, México, Perú, and Venezuela.

📚 Course Structure: This course consists of 32 comprehensive lessons, each approximately 10 minutes long. Each lesson is followed by a quiz to reinforce learning. Plan to dedicate around 7 hours in total to fully engage with all the content, including quizzes. The course is entirely in Spanish, complete with subtitles, transcripts, and supplementary materials also available in Spanish.
