Content is informative and concise. The lecturer explains everything in an easy to follow format in short sections so I can concentrate. Also, the quiz section is helpful to check progress

Thank you for this course. It was worth the time. But there are certain aspects which you can improve. I think we need much more practices, and some work should be done on the audio of the lectures. Those aside, the lecturer is a unique and great one. His words sip into the skull with ease. Thanks a lot!

Terrible audio. Only a couple tiny bits of useful information. The teacher is not a native English speaker and the course contains several grammar and punctuation errors throughout. Not worth the time.

Hello. One thing I can tell you for your future lessons is that it might be best to use a proper microphone. These days the sound quality we hear is often so good that when we hear an instructor's voice without proper sound quality, it kind of feels unsatisfactory. Thank you for the effort. I definitely did learn a thing or two!

I loved this course. It has revived my love for learning and made me feel much more confident in my proofreading skills. The information in this course was very clear, as well as straight forward, easy to understand, and informative. Alex Zimny's tone of voice when teaching was captivating and enjoyable to listen to. This was a good course for beginner proofreaders. I feel there could have been more exercises to do and slightly more of a "teaching" atmosphere. To improve the professionalism of the course, I would suggest using PowerPoints instead of just screen recording a computer screen open on Word.

I would have liked more guidance on punctuation, specifically use of commas. Some of the follow up questions were too simple (eg "is spellcheck recommended" etc. I think there were some errors in the UK/US spelling section; in UK English we use 'enrolment', 'skillful' and 'fullfil' - no "ll" in the word.

Common misspellings is pretty bad. Saying “x” or “ex” and having the correct spelling always on the right isn’t helpful. The “when to say no” example was a time when he still said yes, did not support the theme.

Overall, the course was very helpful and I enjoyed the chance to practice the subject matter. There was just a little error in the corrected document for the "Eliminate Complexity" document. (It wasn't really an error, it just was not highlighted in the document as being incorrect.)

This course was extremely helpful. I was especially grateful for its detailed inclusion of the differences between UK and US spelling as that is something I've struggled with often in the past. The exercises were challenging yet enlightening and the advice for freelancing is much appreciated. It would have been nice to have a little more information regarding punctuation, but overall it was a fantastic course.
